Giagantic Baby!
I'm forewarning anyone who is pregnant, that you might be well advised not to read or look at this post. So here's the deal, we have MSN set as our homepage. I saw this story title on there last night that said "Women in Russia gives birth to 17 pound baby." I felt like this couldn't be true and would be something I would only read on the cover of The Star at the grocery store or something. So Ryan and I click on the link and it really was true, we were both in shock and disgust at the same time! This lady in Russia gave birth to her 12th child (yes, 12th!) and it weighed 17 pounds! Granted, she gave birth to it C-section, but still 17 pounds! I thought it was so crazy that I had to write about it and of course post the picture that was on-line, it is truly freaky! My favorite part of the picture is the look on the babies face that is next to the huge baby, like it understands that at any moment this huge baby is going to jump up and crush anything in sight like Godzilla! That's unreal. Poor Mom. 12 kids and the most recent comes out a toddler. This kids going to suck her dry!
I, too, like the little guy's expression. He looks incredulous. Reminds me of the book "Are YOU My Mother?"
I read about this too. My favorite thing about it is the little guy on the right looks like he's trying to get some assistance (note his finger on his left hand) and probably thinking, "Um. Excuse me nurse, can you come over here and quiet the big one down. The rest of us are still new at this. He's sorta freaking us out."
I saw this on the news! CRAZY. She had to have gestational diabetes or something that made that child so large. I wonder how big her other babies were.
He's like a 6-month old. That's great.
That baby is how much my son weighed when he was 11 months old. Crazy.
I saw this as well and thought it was unbelievably weird! That's how much a six or seven month old should weigh. Maybe it's time for that lady to stop having kids!?! That's just a little larger than Jocelyn when she was born. KIDDING! KIDDING!
