The Best Invention Ever!

Last night I tried a new product that I really liked. It is especially great if you cook in a crock pot often. They are called Reynold's Slow Cooker Liners. I like cooking in my crock pot because it's easy, but I'm not so fond of cleaning up when I'm done. We have an especially large and odd shaped crock pot that is rather difficult to clean. Yesterday I made chicken and used one of these liners and it was great, because then I didn't have to clean the crock pot at all. All the food just goes into this handy dandy little bag and then you throw it away when you're done. It's great for people who are lazy about doing dishes, such as myself. I payed about $2 for them at Target and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Oohhh, this is great news. We use our crock pot most every Sunday and I hate dishes as much as anyone! Oh, if only I hadn't just gotten back from Target!!

I made beef stew in my crock pot yesterday....and I made Kirra clean it for me after dinner. She would have loved having a liner in the pot. Good idea. Thanks for sharing! See you soon :)

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm definitely adding it to my grocery list. Yummy food and less mess is always a plus at our house.

I have heard of these, but was a little skeptical. Do they leak? So then you have to wash anyway?

The bags we got didn't leak a bit, they were great!

Sounds like something I would like, since we sometimes eat on paper plates just so I won't have to run the dishwasher every day--as if it's such hard work!

Good to know! I've only used my crock pot once in the last six months and I think the difficult clean-up is the main reason for that.

That is great...I always use the crock pot, but I alawys have to let the pot soak in water for a day afterwards because my food burns on the sides...BUT NOW, I will go and get some of those, and have a quick and easy clean up!
