We thought that we'd do our part in stimulating the economy by using part of our stimulus check to buy a Wii. The most productive thing we could have bought? No! A very fun thing to buy? Yes! One of my favorite Nintendo games is Mario Cart. We bought Super Mario Kart for the Wii and have been playing it quite often. (Some of us more often than others. I'll let all of you draw your own conclusions on that one!) I am not usually a person who enjoys video games, but I can't help but like games on the Wii. I like that I actually feel like I'm getting some kind of a workout with the sports games, instead of just sitting in a trance on my keester for hours at a time. (The word keester is courtesy of my Granny Davis and I have adopted it as one of my own favorite words of all time!) My favorite thing about the Wii is making your own Mii. It's where you get to make your own little animated version of yourself (and others, if you so desire) and I think it's so much fun! I made a Mii for myself and for Addy, very cute! So basically what I'm trying to say is that we are enjoying this new purchase in the Mills household.

These are actually really fun. Glad you have a new baby in your home!
I like the cow racing, pool, and guitar hero. I want my own guitar hero. Think it would be good for aging brains.
It cracks me up that my Mom wants guitar hero. We don't have a Wii, but I want one, and Justin says No. We're kinda against video games to a certian degree...Justin's parents bought the kids Playstation II years and years ago, but only Teagan plays it now. I think the Wii is great exercise, and I'm somewhat amazed by it.
I like the title of your blog by the way.
One side note, I heard Teagan's teacher tell the kindergartners that We is spelled WE, not Wii..many of the kids were writing in their journals....Wii went to the park,etc....
Ours broke, so we need to send it in to get fixed. I do like it, but much less fighting now that we can't play it.
The Wii is so much fun! We are definitely having Wii nights at your house.
Ha, i love keester! Also, Mike gave me a Wii for my birthday . . . which is interesting since I am the last person in our family to have watned a Wii, however, like you, I must admit that as we were all sitting there happily making our own little Mii look aliokes, I began to find it a pretty fun thing to have.
We love our Wii. My favorite workout on the Wii is boxing with my kids. I look really stupid doing it but I always break a sweat while I am playing. Enjoy your Wii!
Wii also enjoyed your Wii. Thanks for doing your part to contribute. Take good care of my Mii now that I'm not there.
