Addy sometimes likes to make this face at Ryan and I. It's kind of funny and cute, but borderlines on being a bit creepy!
As you may have guessed by the title of the post, this one is going to be all about Addy. (as it always is in our household!) A couple of weeks back she got her first tooth and now she actually has two popping out on the bottom. Let me tell you, they're some sharp little buggers! No more sticking our fingers in her mouth, because she's like a barracuda and will bite hard! Also, yesterday she had her first drink from a sippy cup. We gave her the cup and it's like she knew exactly how to hold it. However, she didn't particularly enjoy the water inside. She did enjoy gnawing on the spout of the cup though. My Aunt Teri (who isn't technically my aunt, but that's a story for another time!) sent Addy some cute little sunglasses and a sun hat awhile back and it was funny to try them on her. She really didn't know what to think about the sunglasses, she mostly just tried to figure out how to get them off so she could suck on them. It made for some very cute and funny pictures! I can't believe how fast our little Miss Addy is growing, already over 7 months old. It's fun to watch her grow and do all kinds of new stuff, but also sad to watch her get bigger and bigger. Before we know it she's going to be walking around and causing all kinds of mischief!

Ryan and I like to sneak in before Addy wakes up and watch her sleep. It's such a precious sight! This was particularly cute, becasue she was sucking on her finger.

That first pic made me laugh my head off, not only is she giving your husband a sweet patronizing look, but she looks like an actual doll in that picture -- even how her little hand is held.
P.S. I love that you say you are looking at your stocks and bonds when blog surfing. I am going to start telling mike that is what I am doing . . . only he'll be like, "what stocks and bonds?!"
ha! i was literally laughing out loud at that first picture. i love it! she is the cutest little girl. i think she should be tagg's girlfriend someday. also, i dont think i ever answered you.... i grew up in san diego and still have a lot of family there. thats why we visit there so often. hopefully next time it will be acceptable weather....

Oh what a sweet little chubby thing. I love hearing how mommies talk about their first baby. There is no doting on earth to compare. I really don't know how to spell doting by the way. Oh and to answer your question about SYTYCD dude..I think he will regret that moment for the rest of his life and that made my stomach sink. Once, I turned down the opportunity to run for homecoming queen because I was afraid I would lose. Then someone really annoying won and I always regretted that choice.

i am dying. she is literally the world's funniest baby. i love that she gives you guys that look like "are you freaking kidding me?" that first picture is the cutest thing i have ever seen in my entire life. it made me laugh so hard. i am also OBSESSED with her in the sunglasses. and the fact that you called her a barracuda!

Ryan, that first picture of Addy reminds me of Kristen. You have a beautiful family.
Her "looks" crack me up, I wonder if they'll change much when she's 13. At that point she will be mouthing off along with the looks. Unless you train her right, then she'll give the look, but she'll think of the mean things to say with the look and just won't voice them.
I love the sunglasses. I loved watching my kids sleep. For some reason it made me love them more!
What a great baby girl! We are so lucky to have her.
