You've Got Mail!

Isn't it just the best when you check the mailbox, only to find that you've received all kinds of exciting mail? For instance, a card from a family member and/or friend, a movie from Netflix, a magazine, or best of all a package filled with cute baby clothes. It just makes my day, seriously! Well, I would like to say that today was one of those good mail days for me, but that would be a total lie! I received the following items in the mail today: a jury summons, (YUCK, but I think I can get out of it like I have every other time I've gotten called to jury duty!) a letter from the Nevada DMV saying that we need to register our cars, (even though we haven't lived in the state of Nevada for almost a year now and I thought I'd made that quite clear to the lovely folks at the DMV!) a credit card application from our credit union, a bunch of junk from AAA and of course a whole bunch of other random junk mail! I know that it's possible to have bad hair days, since I have them more often than not. But is it possible to have bad mail days? If so, today was one such day for me!
P.S. On a totally unrelated note, in case anyone was worried sick about my lost house key (come on admit it, you were all losing sleep over it!) it has been found! It was in my purse, of all places. I don't know how it got there, but I opened up my purse the other day to look for something and there the little stinker was!

Of course I remember you! You were so sweet and cute. I always thought you were down to earth and one of my favorite friendly faces to see when I felt nervous conducting Lambda Delta Sigma. I recall you got me a cool pizza pan and and some jiffy crust mix for my wedding. It was such a fun unexpected gift and I'll have you know I make jiffy pizza crust on a regular basis! So fun to hear from you. I cannot believe how long you babie's tongue is! That could get her into the circus some day. I would love to add you to my blog list if you don't mind. Thanks for saying Hi. That made my day.

I have bad mail days more often than I'd like. I thought I was reading about my own mail stack since I too was summoned to jury duty after almost 3 years of living in AZ and only a month before leaving the place! And of course, I'm supposed to report the day AFTER we get back from our TWO week vacation. Couldn't they have set the date during my vacation? Ugh!
I also got a letter from the NV DMV to renew my license. I thought it was quite odd seeing that I haven't lived in NV for 3 years. Can I just ignore it cause I want to? I hope your mail days get better :)

I hear ya! I always think about what a waste all the junk mail is to the environment. We recycle it but it's SO MUCH CRAP!

We don't get as much junk mail as we used to, but it's still way too much. I heard if you join LifeLock, they make sure you don't get as much. I'm just glad every piece of mail we get isn't a bill.
