My husband loves to organize things. And what's more I love that he loves to organize things. Mostly because organization is not really my strong suit. I also love it, because he organizes things in such a way to make my life easier. A couple weeks back he organized our kitchen cabinets so that all the pots and pans that we don't use often are in a low cupboard. Then he put all the stuff we use all the time in a cupboard that is easily accessible. Very nice! Not only does he love to organize things, but he enjoys doing it in clever and creative ways. He puts labels on things, puts things in old jars and puts things into categories. I will give you an example. Whenever we go grocery shopping he makes sure that like things go together on the conveyor belt. Refrigerated items are one group, canned items another, frozen items together, etc. The funny thing is now when I go grocery shopping without him I find myself organizing everything on the conveyor belt too. I like the fact that some of his organizationalness (fairly certain that isn't a real word!) has rubbed off on me. Yet another reason that I think being married to him is the best!
You will notice that there is a cereal label on this shelf and the cereals are organized from tallest to shortest.
These are all the cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink. All nicely organized and there is also a separate basket with nicely folded cleaning rags under there, which I didn't get a picture of.
These are old baby formula jars which have been washed out and used to hold paper clips and push pins on our computer desk.

OCD???
I'll pay him to do my kitchen next time you're here...or he can do it for free since he's my brother :)
Can we call 2nd dibs on that too. How fun...I wish I was that organized. Wouldn't that be nice!! You should give me more pictures and explain more of the orginational maddness so I can just copy it!! Good Idea?!?
I have to depend on Brien for organizing and rearranging too. He is just able to see things in ways that I can't visualize.
Orderly Jessica must love your husband . . . as do all the rest of us now.
Ryan, I am thinking you and I have the same disease...CDO, it is just like OCD but the letters are in alphabetical order like they should be. Have a good day you two, I mean 3.
