Disneyland

Ryan and I wanted to go to Disneyland for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately my birthday landed on a Sunday this year. We decided that we didn't want to miss church and we also didn't want to go to Disneyland on a weekend, because we knew it would be a busy nightmare! We ended up going about 2 weeks ago, on a Thursday. It was still pretty busy, but we had such a blast! Ryan's mom was here visiting us at the time, so she was kind enough to hang out with Addy all day. It was really nice to spend a day with just me and my lovah! It was the longest I've ever been away from Addy and it was a nice break. Since it's only a 2 hour drive, we made it a day trip. We left at about 8 am and got home around 11 pm. We got to ride almost everything that we wanted and had so much fun together! We got fast passes for the Indiana Jones ride and Splash Mountain, which was very nice. We were able to get through each of those lines in about 20 mins. I have to say that Splash Mountain is still my favorite Disneyland ride. It's such a huge adrenaline rush going down that huge hill and then splashing into the water. Good times! We had a wonderful and long day and enjoyed every minute of it. We couldn't have done it without you Grandma Mills, thank you!
P.S. Kara, when we were at Disneyland Ryan brought up the fact that we were both wearing shirts made by your dad. Rock Out...!!!

It's true, those 2 blurry figures are us. For some reason our camera was not working properly when this picture was taken.

Doesn't the entry to Disneyland make you feel so happy inside? I love it!

Ryan getting ready to ride Mr. Toad's Wild Ride!

It's Mr. Toad! Half cute, half creepy

Ryan outside It's a Small World, looking quite serious

Ryan is a fan!

This is probably one of the worst pictures I've ever taken, but I wanted to publicly express my displeasure with the Matterhorn. Not a fan of that ride!

I know I'm a lame-o, but I couldn't resist the delicious looking apple outside of the Snow White ride

After the Splash Mountain drop

The longest line we waited in all day was for Autopia. Pretty much, not worth the wait!

Apparently I'm a planetary pilot. I'm actually shocked that I even did that good! Love this Buzz Lightyear ride!
We rode that train. Big Thunder Mountain, baby!

Ry in front of the Haunted Mansion. Awesome pose, huh?

Ryan with a super cute face on the drive there!

That looks like so much fun. It makes me want to go to Disneyland now. Glad you had a great birthday!

And I just have to say that it put a smile on my face to see you wearing that "rock out..." shirt! Takes me back to those good times we had and the many inside joke t-shirts we made!

Yes indeed my friend, they were the best of times! They were sometimes the worst of times, but mostly the best of times! That shirt makes me feel happy too and that's why I wore it to the happiest place on earth! I have big plans to post some of our old college pics. on Facebook. I'll have to show them to you, lots of good times!

I LOVE DISNEYLAND! It seriously is the happiest place on Earth. I am glad you got to spend some time with your hubby. Sometimes that is exactly what we need so we can go back to being a happy, nice, not so stressed out mom.
