We've lived in San Diego for nearly 2 years now and we are still finding fun things to do here. I love it! I'd heard about Seaport Village a few times before, but we'd never been before. A couple of Saturdays ago we decided to head out there. It's right down by the bay, hence the name Seaport Village. It's mostly just a bunch of little, touristy shops and some places to eat. The view of the water is beautiful and we really enjoyed the scenery (both people and water!) The only thing I did not enjoy was the meal we ate there. We decided to eat at a Mexican restaurant there and it was DISGUSTING! I was disgusted not only by how nasty the burrito was, but also by the price of the food! We got 2 burritos (very small burritos, I might add!) with nothing at all on the side and 2 medium drinks and we paid $21! Not cool! Anyway, we still had a great time walking around, people watching, seeing the street performers and enjoying the beautiful San Diego weather.
We pretty much saw it all this day...
Sail boats...
Birds... (that one at the bottom of the pole, used it's beak to pull itself to the top. It was pretty funny to watch, actually!)
Colorful kites...
A really good saxaphone player...(I loved that he had the sign that said, "They call me Mr. P")
Of course, she had to push the stroller
