Addy has been going to preschool for the past several months and has LOVED it! She learned a lot in the short time that she was there. She grew both academically and socially. I'm always super grateful for good, patient teachers. Her teachers were Mrs. Dominick and Miss Kleine and she loved both of them. Sometimes when we would say her name, she would reply, "I'm not Addy, I'm Mrs. Dominick." I hope she loves kindergarten as much in the fall as she loved preschool! So far, we're off to a great start!
Here's Addy with Mrs. Dominick
And with Miss Kleine (I had no idea that the last day was pajama day!)
I found this cute idea for a teacher gift and changed it up a bit. I got the notepads from none other than the dollar section at Target and then attached the Jamba Juice gift card. I'm glad there are creative people who come up with these cute ideas for me!
Addy's school also had a really cute (and very brief, thank goodness!) end of the year program where all the classes at the preschool performed. Addy's class performed "Five Little Speckled Frogs." Addy participated in the song for approximately 5 seconds. Once the other kids did a jumping and clapping action to go with the song, it was over for her. She stood there plugging her ears for the rest of the song. She did manage to do a very graceful bow at the end of the song, which I found quite funny. I'll have to see if I can get the video that Ryan took up on the blog. She's such a funny little lady! I've never met a kid that is so sensitive about noises!
After the big performance, we took the family to eat at Addy's favorite place IHOP. She was loving life!
As you can see, Cohen was feeling mighty relaxed.

Addy's looking so grown up in her pictures with her teachers. I checked out her school parade on Ryan's blog--she was a good flag waver. Love casual Cohen at IHOP. Thanks for the latest photos!
addy and brady would get along great with their mutual love of ihop. that's really funny that she says she's not addy and that she's mrs. dominick. haha it made me lol. i can't believe she's starting kindergarten in a couple of months! craziness!
