Ever since we moved into our new apartment we've been getting channels that we didn't get in our old apartment. We've become particualrly obsessed with the Food Network. We watch it pretty much all the time. The thing that's strange about it is that I'm the world's pickest eater, so about 90% of the time I don't even like the things that are being made. I even watch "The Barefoot Contessa", the title alone would tell you how lame it is! Our personal favorites are "The Ace of Cakes" and "Dinner Impossible". We have this feeling that we're not always going to be able to get this channel as part of our plan, since we don't even have real cable, so I think that we feel we need to squeeze in as much viewing time as we possibly can!

I can totally relate to being a picky eater and watching the Food network channel and wondering how someone would really eat what they're making :)I like the Ace of Cakes too. Have you ever seen The Challenge? They usually do awesome cake building things on that show.
Uh oh, I hope no one else in our family reads this, because I'm pretty sure they all hate Ace of Cakes! I'm okay with it. I agree with Kara, The Challenge is great.
BUT...do you also squeeze in time to watch "Big Head" and "Saggy Boobs"? I sure hope so. Actually, you guys should check out "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" if you haven't already. It's a personal favorite. Watching people make good food is just...well...good. And Jocelyn is right, everyone else in our family hates "Ace of Cakes", especially Dad as you can imagine. But who cares?!? Watch what you want. Happy Cable!
