Our 8 legged friends!

There has been a lot of conflict in the Mills household lately. No, not between Ryan and I, but between Ryan and a gigantic spider. Every morning when he leaves to go to school there is this giant spider hanging down right outside our door to greet him. He's pretty freaked out by it, because it builds huge webs. I've never actually seen the spider in the daylight, but I have come in contact with its giant webs! He actually tried to burn it the other night with a lighter, which was successful, but its friends must have come back in full force for revenge! It's crazy how many spiders and other creatures live in San Diego! YUCK! It's hard to get the full effect of how big the spider actually is just from the picture. Trust me though I'm not normally afraid of spiders, but this one really freaks me out!

Yuck! We had problems with ants in our apartment when we first moved in. The apartment blamed it on the monsoon season. I guess they were right because we haven't seen them since the rain stopped. It was still creepy though and we always felt like they were on us!

I remember when we first got to your new apt.--there was a live spider in the bathtub and a few dead ones in the kitchen--but nothing like the one in the picture--it's huge! You've got to kill it before it reproduces!

Can't you adopt it? Have you no heart? Really, I would have grabbed a shoe and tried to smash it and then instead of crunching it in a tissue, I would have put a cup over it...that's how freaked out I get. I can't stand the crunching noise they usually make. It's sick!
