More Addy Pix

Hey everybody, it's Ryan again. Since it's 4am, and I just happened to be wide awake, I thought I'd put up some more pictures of Adeline. She wasn't too happy at the time I took these, she and Melissa are slowly but surely learning how to eat and stuff like that. Every time Addy straps on the ol' feedbag (or feedbags in this case) she gets better and better at it, it just takes practice. It's like everyone's favorite 1990s TGIF sitcom, "Step by Step! Day by Day!....."

I would also like to address a growing concern among constituents about the spelling and pronunciation of our baby's name. Apparently Melissa sent out an email with the baby's middle name as "Lily" rather than the correct spelling of "Lilly". Please forgive this misspelling, as the new mom is on heavy painkillers and throwing knives at anyone who looks at her funny (only kidding). Also, Adeline is pronounced, "Add-uh-Line". We were gonna do Adaline but made the change to the "del" spelling on behalf of my wonderful mom, whose name is Mardel. I love my mom very much and this was a cool way to put her "unique" name in with one of our kids.
Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the pictures, we'll eventually do a post about being evacuated to the Chargers Stadium, which was one of the funnest experiences of my life! I'm not sure how the wife feels about it.

This is the chair/bed thing that I get to sleep on. It's not exactly made out of memory foam, but it's better than sleeping on our inflatable mattress.

This table shows the flowers sent to Melissa by GranJan and Grandma Mills. I got her the one in the middle--the smaller, cheaper, less expensive one, that is.

Ryan-
Does Melissa know you're mentioning her "feedbags"? Adeline is so cute. C-Section babies don't get deformed so they look so pretty. I can't wait to hold her. I'm glad you are able to stay with Melissa at the hospital, even if they don't have memory foam for you to sleep on. Tell Melissa that she did a great job! She grew a beautiful girl! Love you guys!

Congrats! She's a very pretty baby. Breastfeeding is one of the hardest things. Remember to take all the free things the hospital will give you when you leave. If you are breastfeeding they will give you things for a breastpump if you have one. Also, it is nice to have all the free formula supplies on hand even if you don't use it. Just a little tip.

She is precious and her cheeks are still looking chubby!!! I vote we don't talk about anyone's "feedbags" EVER though. That pretty much makes me want to throw up.
