Ode to Kristen

I went to my Dr.'s appointment for the week where he told me that basically nothing has happened since last week. Afterwards I made my way over to the 2 story Target that's across the street. I wish that I could say that because it's 2 stories it's much bigger than a regular Target, but unfortunately that's not true. The cool thing about it is that since it is 2 stories they have a kind of cart conveyer belt to take your cart from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor and vice-a-versa. So while you ride the escalator the cart is riding beside you on the cart escalator. I would have gotten better pictures, but right after I took these two the security guard came over and told me that I wasn't allowed to take pictures. Which further proves my point of the week, if I ever do anything that's against the rules or wrong in any way I always get caught! I had another incident this week where I went to SDSU to eat lunch with Ryan in the food court. I tried to be sneaky and get a free drink refill, instead of paying the 89 cents that it cost (which I think is very stupid, by the way!) and totally got busted by an employee of the restaurant.

It cracks me up that you got caught taking pictures. It's so funny. Did they patent the cart escalator or something? Melissa, I would have gotten busted too. I am a little jealous of the 2 story Target, although it would only drive me nuts that I couldn't shop as much as I would like.

What also is funny is that you must look like a wacky tourist at Disneyland taking pictures of everything!

Oh, what a sight. I know you say it's not as big, but let's pretend it is so I have something to dream about. I can't wait to visit!

I WOULD LOOOOVE TO SEE THE ESCALATER CONVEYOR THINGY IN PERSON!!! I'm seriously so excited about it. I also loooove that you got caught taking a picture. How are you not allowed to take pictures in Target? That's so random. Don't even get me started on places trying to charge for refills...

There are a few of those cart things around here too. One in Walnut Creek, the other in Albany (probably the best Target I've ever been in). At the one in Albany, the families from Richmond bring their kids along and line them up. They call it the "Ghetto Roller Coaster".

Just Kidding.

I wouldn't take you to be a big "rule breaker". And I think it's dumb that (1 you aren't allowed to take pictures in Target and (2 that a refill for any drink would be $.89. What a rip off!
