Happy Belated New Year!

I love how chubby her cheeks look in this one! It was taken on New Year's Day
We bought this play mat for Addy with the Christmas money we got from my parents and she totally loves it!

This year for New Year's Eve I really wanted to do something fun. Not necessarily something extravagant, but just something fun at home. We ended up having a good time. I was going to do a breakfast thing, but decided that pizza sounded a whole lot better and easier. Ryan picked us up a frozen pizza and this really good bread to make garlic bread with. As a side note, I have decided that the key to good garlic bread is making it with real butter, real garlic and putting it under the broiler to toast it. It is seriously the best thing ever and I could eat it everyday! Okay, so back to the original subject. We ended up hanging out at home and playing Star Wars Epic Duels. (I know pretty nerdy!) It's a game I bought for Ryan a couple years ago for Christmas. I am by no means a Star Wars fan, but it's a pretty fun game. Then we watched the ball drop on TV. We also drank Martenelli's at midnight and had little confetti popper things, which we set off outside the apartment. I had a very fun New Year's staying in!

I'm waiting for my play mat to show up in the mail. (I ordered it on-line.) Hopefully Z loves hers as much as Addy does. Addy is just getting cuter!

Happy new year to you too! Glad to hear you had a fun at-home celebration. Thanks for posting new photos of Addy enjoying her new play mat and the close up showing how much her hair has grown.

Sounds like fun! Addy's pictures of Christmas and New Years are adorable. She looks so tiny on your parent's couch! Your family pic by the stairs is beautiful! Like the close-up of her chubby cheeks, too

I love love love the first picture of Addy! She is such a chunk. I also especially like the picture of you shooting off that thing (or whatever you're doing), it is so Melissa to me.

Uh Oh, looks like Max has some competition with the cheeks. I wish we could take pictures of them right next to each other...we will soon!
