I chose to post tonight to express my feelings about handling raw chicken. I truly despise it! It literally makes me want to gag every time I do it! It is so slimy and there is always that weird chicken juice, not to mention the fact that it's possible to contract salmonella poisoning. I try to avoid dealing with raw chicken at all costs and usually make Ryan deal with it! By the by I didn't just pull this topic out of thin air. I had to deal with raw chicken tonight, while making chicken pot pie for dinner. DISGUSTING!

I agree 2000%. In fact I now use frozen chicken more than anything. That way I don't have to deal with the juice, or the gut stuff. It makes me gag everytime. UGH!
I get those feelings too! Allan brings home those latex gloves and I use them for everything, including chicken handling.
i hate dealing with raw meat too. ahh the sacrifices we women make for our families! :) also, those peanut butter chocolate bars look to die for, i will have to try them out.
No one hates the fact that Melissa hates cutting raw chicken more than I do.
Yay! I am not the only one! I have sucked it up and dealt with it a few times but I mostly just use gloves. It is very disgusting!
I don't know what's wrong with you! I love handling raw chicken at every possibly opportunity. Perhaps that is why I've done it exactly one time since I moved out.
