She was flashing me quite the dirty look on this one!
Addy's favorite thing lately is to sit in the little activity center in the picture above and play with all the different stuff on it. She has become very good at turning herself around in it and at spinning the little toys on it. The only problem is, she seems to want to suck on the toys that are attached to it. So she'll put her head down to try to reach the toys to suck on them and when it doesn't work it makes her very frustrated. Pretty funny to watch, really! She is at the stage where everything she sees goes straight into her mouth. Which is gross, because every time I turn around she has a hair or fuzz attached to her hand and is trying to stuff her fist into her mouth! We were lucky enough to have my mom come and visit us this past weekend and we had lots of fun. We went to Balboa Park, Old Town (where we ate the most disgusting food ever! Never eat at the Living Room Cafe in Old Town, it's the worst!) and Horton Plaza. It was beautiful weather and it was nice to be able to do so many outdoor things. My mom and I thought these orange baby overalls that Addy had were so cute, that we took a bunch of pictures of her in them. We are always glad when we have guests come and visit us and Addy loves her Gran Jan!

Man, I could have written the exact same thing about Max. He loves the exersaucer. We have the same one and he really loves looking at the orange starfish. He can't get it to his mouth yet but he grabs and pulls it like they are in battle, then smiles at it like it told him a joke. I don't like it very much but it buys me a few minutes to pee or whatever.
I can bring it to my parents house when you guys come up next month. Let me know...
I love that orange outfit! Girl clothes are so much cuter than boys. I can't wait to squeeze her!!!!
How fun. I am glad your mom was able to visit. I loved it when my kids learned to entertain themselves. (like in their walkers) It meant a couple minutes of "me time"!

my little girl does the same thing. She is always gaggin herself by shoving her WHOLE hand down her mouth. You addy is just so dang cute...I love all of her cubbbiness
I love hearing stories about her and seeing how big she's getting. After looking at these pictures, Ana said, "They grow up so fast!" And then she pretended to wipe a tear from her eye. What a character!
I can't wait for her to wiggle on my lap. I just want to kiss her!!
hahaha i looked at the second picture of addy and thought "wow, she REALLY looks like ryan in that picture" and then i read the caption about that being her "mean" face. hmmmm, wonder what that means?! :) she is honestly such a cute little girl. you guys are so lucky.
