I have a cleaning issue. I have tried many different types of mops on our tile floors and don't like any of them. I don't think that any of them work well at all. Maybe it's the type of floor cleaner I'm using, but I think the mop is more to blame. Anyone out there tried a brand of mop cleaner or a mop that they really like? If so, let me know what it is and I'll go get it. Thanks for the input!

I just got a new mop on Saturday because I'm having similar issues. I really like the Target Method mop cleaner, you just squirt it on the floor and you're good.
if you go to realsimple.com and search 'mop' they reviewed mops and I went and picked one they reviewed. I haven't tried it yet though. You should go check it out.
Thanks Jenny, you always help me out with stuff like this!
If I used a mop I might have some suggestions for you, but I don't. You could always try Granny's method of kneeling on a rubber thingy and using a rag or a sponge or whatever she used. HAHA, j/k, it's not 1930, so that's probably not the best method.
I HATE MOPPING! But, I like our swiffer wet jet. The actual cleaner they sell is just okay on kitchen/bathroom floors. (Their hardwood cleaner is great) But, we have sprayed 409 on the floor first, let it sit for a few minutes then wipe it all up. It works well.
But again, I hate mopping. Make Ryan do it.
I don't like mopping either but we do have a Clorox Ready Mop which I love and it is so easy to use! It also helps because we live in such a small place we don't have to have a huge mop!
Vinegar and Water with a scrub brush works wonders....like I'd know. :) I hate our mop...and I know a bucket and scrub brush would would so much better, it just is too much work! Once I used Pine Sol to scrub my bathroom floor when we moved in, and I scrubed for HOURS...I ended up burning my hands and they took weeks to heal after the burn stopped hurting they peeled for days! So, use gloves if you are going to scrub with PineSol!
I feel dumb saying this but I have no idea what kind of mop we have. I hate mopping so I make my husband do it. Good luck mop hunting.
I seriously hate mopping the floors. I do it the old fashioned way that Jocelyn has recommended you not do. I get down on my hands and knees with a rag and use vinegar & water. Our mom would be so proud.
