Isn't it great how many words rhyme with Addy? It certainly does make for some fun titles for my posts, at least! Addy had her 6 month check-up today and she did very well with it. She got 2 shots in her legs and she hardly even cried. I think her thighs are so chunky that she doesn't really feel a thing! Here are her numbers:Weight: 17 lbs. 11 oz.
Height: 28 inches
Head: 43
This means she's gained almost 2 lbs. since her 4 month check-up and has grown 2 inches. Still chubby as ever! She's become quite good at grasping objects, rolling onto her side and she loves to laugh. (especially at almost anything that Ryan does to her!) I also started feeding her rice cereal a couple days ago and I thought she would love it! I was wrong. As you can see from the pictures she seems more interested in sucking on her bib and the spoon than she does in actually eating. The majority of the cereal ended up on her bib or her chin. I'm not too concerened about her gaining weight, because clearly she's doing well in that department!

Addy looks so big, sitting up in her high chair and holding onto her spoon. I can't believe she's almost 6 mo. old!
She is darling. My neighbor across the street has a baby that 6 months and he weighing in at 25 pounds so Addy is skinny compared to what I see everyday :)
She looks so repulsed! Maybe you could mix the cereal with some type of fruit to get her to eat it? That's what I used to do with Ana. I'm so glad she's not a skinny baby. We all know how sad that would be. I can't wait to squeeze her in two weeks!!!
she really is a chunk! I can't belive how much bigger she is than Grace. I also cant belive that she is just now starting rice. that is what I wanted to do (start rice at 6 months) but grace was ready at 4 and a half months...oh well. I agree with gracie...try bananas in there..grace didn't really get intersted in her rice till i started mixing. or just keep giving her milk..if she still likes that then why not.
