The title of this post goes out to my elder sister, Jessica! I celebrated my 28th birthday yesterday and it was truly a great day. When I woke up Ryan was holding Addy and she had a note that she had handwritten (with some assistance, of course!) and some mint chocolate milano cookies. He had also gone to the store and bought me a maple bar (which happens to be my favorite doughnut) and some chocolate milk. We went to Chili's for lunch and got their fabulous molten lava chocolate cake to eat later on last night. (As you can see I took advantage of being able to eat chocolate yesterday!) Ryan bought me a gift certificate at Christmas for a facial and I used it yesterday and had a very relaxing time. After that we headed to Fashion Valley and did some shopping. I used the birthday money Ryan's parents gave me (thanks Tom and Mardel!) to buy some new clothes. We arranged for a very nice couple in our ward to take care of Addy while we went out to dinner. We went to a cute little Italian restaurant in the Gas Lamp District in downtown San Diego. It's such a cool area. There are a bunch of really cute little places to eat and shopping. We came home and I opened Ryan's presents (which I enjoyed very much) and we ate our delightful cake from Chili's, which if you have never tried you must! It is heaven in the form of chocolate! It really was one of the best and most fun days I've had in quite some time and my very kind, loving husband was the one who made it all possible, thanks Ry!
This is downtown San Diego. I thought the buildings looked very cool and old fashioned!
Addy's gift to me
This is the most delightful cake, which I was talking about!
A lovely bouquet, sent to me by my lovely sister Jocelyn!

I loved the title of your post and immediately sang it to myself in my head:"YOur the birthday your the birthday your the birthday boy or girl!" They should make that one of the new primary b-day songs. Anywya, happy b-day! Your husband did a good job. I've never had a facial before and I think i want one this minute. Also, that Chili's cake is oh so delicious!!
