Addy turns 6 months old today! I'm not like some of my other cute and clever friends who do something for their babies' 6 month birthday, although I wish I was. In fact, as I was uploading the pictures I just remembered she's 6 months today. I will share with you (this is mostly for the Grandma's mind you!) some of the things that she's been up to lately. She's become quite good at sitting up without assistance. She still gets a little tipsy if she tries to turn and look at something, but mostly does well all on her own. She has gotten into the habit lately of sucking on her bottom lip and it makes her look like an old person that has lost their dentures, quite funny! She loves to grab and suck on her feet, even when wearing socks. She also enjoys touching and grabbing things, especially my face and hair. She is very tickilish on her feet and in her armpits and will usually giggle when touched in these places. She has become good at rolling onto her side, but doesn't quite have the rolling over thing down yet. She is also good at pushing up on her arms when she's on her belly. Ever since we got home from our Napa trip, she's been napping really well during the day again (HORRAY!) and sleeping well at night too. The other night she slept all the way from 6 at night until 5 in the morning (I got 7 straight hours of sleep, which is the longest stretch of sleep I've gotten since she was born!) and then went back to sleep until I woke her up at 7:45. She is such a fun and happy little lady and I really enjoy being around her. She entertains me and makes me feel happy every single day!

Oh she is so squeezable. I cannot wait to get my hands on her. I love the one of her sitting up! She looks inquisitive! I'm glad you're getting some decent sleep and having fun at the same time.
Such a milestone! Can't believe she is half-way through her first year. She looks healthy and happy and beautiful!

Happy Half Birthday Addy! I love all the pics of her. She's a doll. She's going to do a lot of new things the next 6 months, and the nest 6 months, and the next! How great is that??
