Yesterday Ryan, Addy and I decided to take a leisurely stroll down by the San Diego bay. It was a very nice day for such a thing, warm and just a little breezy. We saw lots of really awesome large ships, some cool statues and a whole lot of homeless people. I told Ryan that if I had to be homeless, San Diego is where I would chose to be homeless at. Simply because there is such nice weather almost all year round. Not that I'd want to be in the situation where I had to be homeless at all, but you know what I'm saying! Addy got a bit cranky towards the end, but we still had a nice little family outing. I also threw in a picture of Addy and I from Mother's Day. It was such a lovely first Mother's Day for me thanks to my sweet husband.

I thought this was such a cute statue! I really wanted to get a picture of Ryan and I doing the same pose, but would have been way too embarassed to do such a thing in a picture!

What a nice day that was! Addy looks her adorable self. In my cell phone is a picture of you and Ryan in a pose similiar to the couple in the statue. Only in this pic, Ryan was a RM and you were his girl! He had been home a few days and we picked you up at the airport in Oakland. A happy memory!

I also would have loved a staged picture in the same pose as the statue but also would have been to embarrassed to ask someone to take it while I did the stupid pose! (And we know how Ryan makes you ask in order to make you less afraid of talking to strangers!)
