Addy turned 9 months old yesterday, which doesn't seem possible. I can't believe how fast she is growing and changing. She can be quite the little pill at times, but mostly she makes our lives so much happier with her charming and funny personality. Here are some things she's doing/liking right now:
She is on the verge of crawling and has become pretty good at scooting around on her belly. She is able to stand up, with assistance from a couch or table. She has also become quite good at eating finger foods. We haven't tried too much stuff yet, but she loves her puffy Gerber cereal and has become very skilled at eating it with her hands. She wants to eat absolutely everything that we eat and gives us her best puppy dog eyes, so that we'll share with her. She enjoys her bedtime routine (nursing, singing, and prayers) and especially loves cuddling with her stuffed alligator to help her go to sleep at nap time and bedtime. As always, she enjoys making funny faces at people. Sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes it's bad. I think she's beginning to develop a bit of stranger anxiety (especially around men, for some reason) and will often glare at them and then start to cry when they talk to her. She loves to be outside and watch us blow bubbles. To show her excitement about things, she becomes very animated usually kicking her chubby legs and flapping her arms around. Our nicknames for her at the moment are, Addy bear and Addy bug. We love the life and joy she brings to our home and family!

I cannot believe she's that old! How very weird. She's pretty much my favorite thing in the world right now. Seven more days until I get to squeeze her again...

I seriously think 9 months marks when babies turn the funnest of all. i am serious. they just start to seem so old and fun and funny. Also, lovely pics of you with my dear Jessica on your Vegas trip. Sisters are fun.
I'm glad you wrote this about her. These are the things you will look back and love to read as she gets older. All the little details, like her nicknames, are so special. She'll have fun reading them someday too.
She's growing up way too fast! Such a sweetheart. I love her to pieces!
