Went to the new children's museum (along with Kara and Hallie) and park in downtown San Diego. To be honest, we were all a bit disappointed with the lack of stuff there was to do, but we still had fun. Went to Balboa Park and walked around, it was a very busy day there. It was a Sunday afternoon, so there were lots of people there. Which actually made it even more fun than usual. We also had Kara, Brad and Hallie over for dessert and games that night. Lots of laughing and fun. Went to Ocean Beach and were hoping to eat at Hodad's, a restaurant that was featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" on the Food Network. Sadly, it was very busy and a tiny little restaurant and we figured we should go eat somewhere else. After eating, we went to the beach (where I took a whole ton of pictures, as you will see below) and had such a nice time. It was a perfect beach day and there was lots of people watching to do (which happens to be one of my favorite past times!), especially since they were filming some TV show right next to us. Ana had a great time building sand castles and Addy had a great time digging in and eating the sand (as you will see in the pictures below!) We went to Fashion Valley, so Jess could do some back to school shopping for Ana. We also did our fair share of playing the Wii and just lounging around. It's so fun having people come and visit and we hope that if any of you are ever in our "neck of the woods" you'll stop by and say hello!

I think these lily pads at Balboa Park are quite lovely to look at.
A particularly cute pic. of Addy
The top of the conservatory at Balboa Park, which I think kind of resembles a spider web.
Okay, so I know this picture isn't so great, but the story is kind of funny. Just as Jess was about to take the picture an elderly gentleman with a cane nearly walked right in front of the camera, which is why we're all looking up at him.
Don't you love how they have such simliar skin tones? (only joking, of course!)
A very sandy and chubby little leg
Even though Ana isn't looking at the camera, I still thought this was a cute picture of her.
Sandy hand and face!
We liked her baby clevage in this one!

Thanks for letting us join in on some of the fun. I particularly like that picture of the three of you looking up at the old man.
i'm jealous.
I laughed at the skin tone pic. All my poor kids are the most white you could ever be and if any sun does get through there 800 spf sunscreen, it still only makes them pink. Never tan.
I love that last picture of Addy examining her sandy hands. Looks like she really enjoyed herself.
Addy is a doll. Thanks for sharing all the picures.
