Ryan really enjoys browsing around on Craig's List. Me, not so much but on occasion I browse around there as well. It is especially interesting to browse the free stuff people list on there. Honestly, is anyone going to want a pile of rocks or a pile of dirt, even if it's free? I'm going to say, most likely not. We were looking around last night and then again tonight at the free listings. We came across one in particular that we both found quite odd. It was a lady who was giving away a glass coffee table and the listing was titled, "spooky glass table." Her reason for giving it away for free? When her mom saw that she bought the table she told her that she'd heard a story about a guy who had gotten killed after sitting on top of a glass coffee table. (this lady spent about 4 paragraphs explaining all this, BTW) Apparently the glass shards went through his body and killed him. Totally gross, I know! She was so freaked out by this story that she's giving away the table for free. If you were trying to give a table away, do you think it would be a wise strategy to tell potentially interested individuals that they might get killed by sitting on said table? In my mind, not the world's best idea. Yet quite interesting, indeed. Anytime you are bored and looking for a little entertainment in your life, I would suggest giving the free section on Craig's List a try. Good times!
