A couple of nights ago a few of the girls that live in our apt. complex and are also in our ward decided to have a girls night. The main reason being, our friend Jane and her family are moving to Japan in just a few days. She's a sweet girl and we will miss her! The upside is, it was a good excuse for us to have a lovely evening, sans kids and husbands. We went and got pedicures, which is always very relaxing and fun. Then we went to TGI Friday's and ate some good food and had some good conversation. We had such a nice time that we decided that we need to start doing this on at least a monthly basis. I feel a real bond with all these girls, because we're in similar stages of life right now. All first time moms and all with one girl each. Thanks for such a fun evening ladies!

Girls nights are the BEST! I agree with you on needing them monthly. It always gives me the energy I need to go back and be a "Nice Mom" again. I am glad you had fun!
