We ended up having a very nice weekend. As planned we went to Coronado and ate at Miguel's
Cocina, a Mexican restaurant that had some really great food. They were the best restaurant enchiladas I've ever tasted! We weren't able to do the
dessert on the beach thing, because it was raining pretty hard Friday night. Rain is always such a plan
ruiner! Nonetheless we had such a nice evening out. We then came home and watched some episodes of
Mad Men we got from
Netflix. It can sometimes be a bit on the scandalous side and at first I wasn't a huge fan of it, but now I'm addicted and so is Ryan. After watching it I would NEVER want to be wife and mother in the 1960's. The clothes were awesome, but women totally got the shaft! As for Saturday we were going to make something nice for dinner, but I decided that I didn't feel like cooking. Instead we opted for a super fancy dinner of a slightly burnt
Freshchetta and garlic bread. We also had our drink of choice, cherry limeade. Afterwards we exchanged love letters and a few gifts. We also watched
this 80's classic (I would highly recommend clicking on the link. It shows the original movie trailer, pretty awesome!) Ryan loved it so much that he fell asleep about 3/4 of the way into it. I gotta give him credit for watching that much of it. It was such a great weekend! I loved having a fun date out and a fun date in with my favorite person to spend time with.

Ryan got a drink, I got a drink, we got refills, plus they brought us waters. So it looked like we were a couple of drunks by the time dinner was over! Kinda funny

Props to Ryan for even sitting down for that movie. Brad loves mad men as well. I haven't actually watched any yet.
I think you look good in that pic of you and ryan. I'm glad you got to have a couple nice evenings with your hubby. Sounds like fun! (except for the rain. it IS a plan ruiner.)
