Carousel Schmarousel

Addy and I went to a mall near our house awhile back. They have a carousel there that I wanted to take her on, but I was $1 short. We walked away and she was okay with it. I took her to the pet store, which she loved every second of. We passed the carousel again on our way out and she turned around and looked at it, got the poutiest look on her face and started to cry! That's not something that she normally does. She's pretty easy going and doesn't usually care about that kind of thing. So, we went back as a family a couple weeks ago so she could have her first ever carousel ride. I thought she'd be super excited about the whole experience, but I was quite wrong! She was not so happy with it and even started crying at one point. We then proceeded to the food court where Ryan enjoyed some Panda Express (his favorite food on planet earth!) and I enjoyed an Arby's. (No I did not devour the entire Arby's restaurant as that last sentence would imply, but my family has always found it funny when people would say they were going to eat an Arby's instead of just saying they were going to eat a roast beef sandwich.) Addy also enjoyed her first taste of Chinese food and Arby's.
*On a side note: I have been to the mall I mentioned just a handful of times and I have seen a total of 3 little people in the times I have been. (2 little people on the last trip alone!) Does anyone else find this strange? Ryan didn't seem to, but I sure do!

Having a little lemonade

I'm loving her face in this one!
After the ride was over, still not happy!
Not doing so swell!

I wish that her you could see her face a little better on this one, but if you look closely you can see she's got the pout going on. I on the other hand, am laughing my head off!
What a rude mom I am!

Um, I'm with you on the little people. It is a little strange. And I think it's hilarious that Addy was so pouty the whole time!

Wouldn't you love to know what Addy was thinking on the merry-go-round? Maybe once she was up close the horses looked scary to her.

I love it, poor little thing. I can totally see the pouty face on the last one. BTW- your hair looks really good, Melissa!
