I Can Never Have Just One...

I went to Rite-Aid the other day with the intention of buying 1 item only, a potted flower to put outside on our balcony ledge. I ended up walking out of the store with my potted flowers, a pair of flip-flops (no I'm not white trash, they were cute and comfortable and on sale for $5.99!) and a small bag of Cadbury mini eggs. (only the best Easter candy I know of!) I have this weird habit of not being able to go into a store and buy just 1 thing. It's like I feel like I'm offending the cashier if they only have to ring me up for 1 item. As if the cashier gives a flying leap how many items I'm buying! Is this behavior strange or normal? Does anyone else have this same personality quirk or should I go seek professional help immediately?

I think that is every person's problem . . . not to say it is normal mind you. i just think stores are set up with 8 million things to catch our eyes (like Easter treats and flip flops) so that we DON'T only buy one thing. Honestly, I would probably sepnd half of what I do if I really truly only ever bought what I set out to get!

Now you've made me curious to see if I can make a list and go buy only those items. I don't know if I can!!!

I can only buy one thing, but I feel weird walking out of a store without buying anything. I feel like a snob, which is ridiculous. I guess it's a good thing I don't get to shop often!!

I can buy just one thing, but if there's a line and I don't really need it I've been known to put it back. I love Cadbury sugar shell eggs - the milk chocolate variety.

Hahaha, I guess I've never put reasoning behind it, but I am so the same way!!
And it is such a good thing that cadbury eggs are only out at Easter time...YUM!

I was eating cadbury mini easter eggs when I read your blog--honestly--and I can never have just an egg. I think I can--but who am I trying to kid. They're addictive!

Shouldn't your next post should be a video of Addy showing off her walking skills?

I saw your comment on April's "butterflies" blog about the martha stewart pouf balls.I don't know where you are but they sell the kits at wallmart with 5 inside. They are SUPER EASY to make ,seriously like not even ten minutes each and the kit has all the materials .I don't know if you checked walmart on line but I promise it is cheaper and quicker than attempting to put them together yourself! I did them for Valentines day! Enjoy
