Shower Time

Last Saturday my friend Christina and I threw a shower for my friend Kiersten. She's having a baby boy in the very near future. (at least, she hopes so!) Since Christina and I both live in apartments, our Relief Society president let us hold the shower at her beautiful and huge house. A perfect place for entertaining! We had a lot of fun planning and then carrying out the shower. Kiersten has become a very good friend and is always willing to let me borrow an egg, watch Addy or take us to the ER when needed. I wish her all the best with her upcoming arrival!

Kiersten and her mother-in-law, with one of the lovely blankets that was knit for her

The very cute blanket that Kiersten's mother-in-law made for her
Christina explaining the guess the baby food game that we played
The cute diaper cake that Katie made for Kiersten

A banner and little tissue paper flowers that I made to go on the fireplace

We had a whole lotta carbs. to eat!

The whole spread, good stuff!
These are some of the tissue paper flowers that we made. They were easy and inexpensive to make, the perfect craft for me!
