Lake Murray

This is the pitcher that Ryan got me for my birthday. I've been really wanting a glass pitcher for a long time and I really like this one!

The aftermath, messy bum!

I liked this action shot. Addy literally runs everywhere these days!

Not happy to be leaving!

Always a little lady, even crossing her legs when she's sitting in mud!

Lake Murray

Ryan putting his feet in the muddy water. YUCK!

Another nice action shot!

Addy and Grandma Mills

I'm guessing she wasn't eating bread!

Addy did a lot of crouching

For part of my birthday celebration and while Grandma Mills was visiting, we were planning to go to La Jolla cove. It became a little late by the time church was over and Addy had her nap, so we decided to go to Lake Murray instead. We got the wrong directions and got a little lost trying to find the lake, but finally made it there. It's a really beautiful little lake, with a nice walking/biking trail around it. We were planning to feed the ducks, but the ducks were sparse and they were not too thrilled with the idea of eating our bread. They almost seemed scared of it, pretty weird! The activity of choice for Addy ended up being throwing rocks into the water. She plopped herself down and chucked rocks in the water, almost the entire time. She got very muddy in the process, but she loved it! As is evident from the pictures, she was not too happy when we had to leave. When we got home, Ryan made me a delicious birthday dinner and I opened presents. Ryan got me lots of nice kitchen stuff, which I always love! We didn't get any pictures of the actual birthday festivities, but luckily we got lots of cute pictures at the lake! I had a wonderful and relaxing 29th birthday!

29. Tisk, tisk. You're an old codger now. It sounds like there was quite a ta-doo for your birthday. That's great. Happy Birthday.

How fun! It looks like addy loved it....I just wonder what she's eating. I hope she didn't inherit Daisy's diet. :)
Miss you !!!
