On the menu this week...

Monday: Homemade corn dogs and oven fries (We made this last week and had lots of leftover corn dog batter, it was delicious! No, we didn't make the shrimp corn dogs as listed in the recipe, BLECK! But we did use the batter recipe and it was way good!)
Tuesday: Meatball subs and fresh fruit
Wednesday: Crockpot Pasta Fagioli
Thursday: Chicken and vegetable kebabs
Friday: Homemade pizza
Saturday: 2nd annual men's cookoff for church. Should be fun!
Sunday: Chicken pot pie (I have a killer chicken pot pie recipe, if anyone is interested!) and mashed potatoes. Ryan will be making this for me for Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day to me!

P.S. For anyone who may be interested in knowing, this tofu recipe from last week was totally nasty! Ryan and I both hated it. Tofu has the consistency of a sponge when cooked in a crockpot. Hey, at least we gave it a try!

What do you use in the corn dogs- regular hot dogs or turkey dogs? Um...yes, I want your chicken pot pie recipe. Email it? I have one, but it turned out really boring.

I used regular hot dogs, but I'm sure you could use turkey dogs also. The batter was really good. My only recommendation would be to add either a little less sugar to the batter or maybe a little salt. Other than that it was great!
