Our Napa Trip

Just a couple of days after Ryan graduated we went to visit his family in Napa for a week. It was such a relaxing and fun trip, which was just what we needed. The only bad part of the trip was that we lost our camera (we think, on the plane ride there) and I realized it right before we went to see Wicked. So the only pictures I have are some that my sister-in-law was kind enough to e-mail me. As I already mentioned all the girls in the family went to Wicked in San Francisco while we were there. It was totally amazing! The singing and acting were so, so great! The 2 leads that played the witches did a fantastic job! We all had such a fun time together. We went to dinner at a fancy schmancy place near the theatre before and had lots of laughs together. Thanks Mardel for making all the arrangements so we could have this fun night! Some other fun things we got to do while we were there were:
*Ryan and I got to go on a date to see the movie "Up" and then out to dinner. It was such a cute, funny movie and we both really enjoyed it!
*We had a family get together where all the kids got to swim and we celebrated all the April/May birthdays. It was fun because we got to celebrate both my birthday and Ryan's birthday. We also celebrated Tom and Mardel's 40th anniversary. Juli put complied a scrapbook with pages that we all made with pictures of our families. It turned out really cute! Addy had a GREAT time in the swimming pool. She loved it!
*We got to hang out at Kristen and Frank's house and it was so fun to watch Addy play with her cousins and go up and down the little slide about a million times! She was in heaven!
*We got to go visit my sister Jocelyn and her husband Brady in San Francisco. They have been living in the most amazing house (which they get paid to live in BTW, what a sweet deal!) for the past 2 years and I have never seen it. The house has a really beautiful view of the bay and the Golden Gate bridge. It was nice to see my cute, pregnant sister! We also ate dinner at a really delicious place a few blocks from their house.
*We got to see John and Carla's new house, which they (AKA Carla!) have done a great job on! Carla and I also got to do some shopping at the outlet mall, which is always fun.
*My sister-in-law, Kelly arranged for me to have a lunch with this lovely lady. It was really fun to meet her in person, because I enjoy reading her blog on a regular basis. She is such a talented and nice lady!
Like I said, I didn't really get pictures of any of this stuff except for our Wicked night. Oh well, we still had a wonderful time! As always, Mardel babysat for us numerous times and we really appreciated it! We always enjoy spending time with family and look forward to our next trip there.

The lovely Mills ladies! Juli, Kelly, Kristen and Mardel

The theatre, isn't it beautiful?

All of us sassy ladies at dinner! Ryan's niece Kirra had just gotten her braces off earlier this day and looked so beautiful!

That is such a bummer you lost your camera! I am so jealous you saw Wicked. One day...

Oh that is so sweet of you to list me as a highlight! I enjoyed lunch. I always love the Mills girls so I knew you would be fun too! Just wish the lunch wasn't surrounded by so much of my business drama. Sorry....next time you come, we have to do lunch again and just chat about everything else!

Fun Fun Fun. I like the little detail about the braces:) My friends and I are making a SYTYCD potluck night on Fridays now because they all lost their channels from some digital switchover thing. My Tivo button is going to get mighty itchy waiting for Friday I tell you.
