Whatta man, whatta man, whatta man, whatta mountain man!

Ryan is involved in the Young Men's organization of our church. As a result he gets to do all kinds of fun stuff (if you were here talking to me you would hear the sarcastic tone in my voice!) like going on a Mountain Man Rendezvous. Why would mountain men want to rendezvous, I don't know? But he was very excited to be a part of it. He found out about 3 days beforehand that the camping site they were going to required all the participants to dress in authentic mountain man attire. What might a mountain man wear, one might ask? Well you need look no further than the pictures below to find out. Funnily enough, my mountain man wore clothes purchased from the Goodwill and Wal-Mart. I might add that he assembled this entire outfit with no help from me. He even took the time to cut the fringy leather stuff attached to his pants. Once he put the whole get up on, he looked like an authentic mountain man! He ended up having a great time, doing mountain manish stuff with some of the young men in our ward. I'm sure this isn't the last time he'll need his mountain man attire.

I'm pretty sure that when you're dressed up in a get up like this, it's a requirement to do this pose and make this face! I married one funny fella!

HAHAHA! Great pictures, I love the color you used too. Just think, you could get in gear and you could be all 'Little House' for Halloween...make Addy be Laura and put some loooong braids in her hair! LOL Love his hat.

I think the rendez-vous is funny because the guys all have to dress up for it. Great pictures of your mountain man (I guess it can also be his Halloween costume.)
