I was definetly tired of looking at the oversized picture of Paul Blart! He had to go! This is going to be a bit of a random post about some fun stuff we've been doing lately.
First up, the park at Balboa Park is one of the best parks ever. Lots of cool, fun equipment to play on and Addy really loves it. We ventured over there awhile back on a pretty chilly day. I was improperly dressed for the occasion and also rather picture happy that day! Here's the result...
Playing on all the little animal statues
I love the hand on the face in this one, always the little lady!
I think this was her favorite thing this day, this little spinny thing. She really liked it!
Talking to me...
and screaming!
If I could ever take a picture without that lame, gummy smile that would be great! I try so hard not to have the gummy smile, but it doesn't work out so well!
Second up, I was looking around online about things to do at Balboa Park and found out that they do puppet shows everyday and they do a different show every couple of weeks. They were doing a puppet show of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" a couple of weeks ago, so we decided to go. We went with Kara and Hallie and another friend of Kara's from her ward and her little daughter. We went to the show and then to the park. The puppet show was a bit annoying, but Addy really enjoyed it. She still talks about the clown (not my favorite, but part of the first part of the show) that liked colors and the "butterbly"
(AKA butterfly) I didn't get any pictures of the puppet show, but I got a couple of cute pictures of the girls holding hands on our LONG (and I mean long, especially with 3 kids under the age of 3!) journey back to the car.
Aren't these 3 so cute holding hands?!? Hallie is the oldest and therefore the leader of the pack! Just precious! Addy's looking quite ragamuffinish as a result of pulling out her hair thing, which she does about 99% of the time!
Another fun thing that we did recently was go to the Mormon Battalion celebration at Old Town. We didn't end up going to many of the booths there, because we did lots of chatting. We saw some old friends and enjoyed being able to catch up with them. They had lots of booths with cute, free things for the kids to do. Addy's favorite part was not the booths, but seeing the donkeys and playing with her friend Isabelle. My favorite part was talking with friends and going to the cute candy store in Old Town. Good times!
Addy seriously would have spent all day looking at these donkeys if we let her. She loved them and was quite sad when we had to go!
Once again the hair is quite ragamuffinish as a result of it getting pulled out by this little monkey!
I love this picture! Pure joy, running with bear and her good buddy Isabelle with her hair flying!

I love how Hallie is pulling Addy and Janey along. What a goof. That was a fun day even though we walked 10 miles to get to that park. Thanks for inviting us!
Fun to see y'all having so much fun. Looking forward to a visit soon.
wow san diego doesn't have nearly as many cool things to do as pueblo. it must suck to live in such a boring place. j/k j/k (obvi). anywho, cute pictures. addy girl is such a blondie. i might dye lucy's hair that color if she doesn't turn out to be blonde.
Addy is so dang cute. I love her expressions. The picture of both of you at the park is adorable. You Don't have a gummy smile, you have PERFECT teeth! Don't change your smile, seriously!
I love the running picture too! Addy's almost-white hair blowing in the wind is so lovely!!
That little girl is just so adorable. She really is beautiful. It does seem there is a lot to do there for wee ones. Makes it fun!
I can't believe how big Addy's gotten since the last time I visited your blog! What an adorable little toddler she is!
