Toddler Talk Today

Photobucket

I made a book for Addy that she looks at during church. It's a small, cheap book with plastic pages and pictures of Jesus in it. Some of the pages have fallen (or been ripped) out. One of them is lying on the floor in my car. As she was stepping out of the car she stepped on the page and said, "Sorry Jesus."
She had to go to the Dr today to get a shot and the nurse let her pick out a sticker when she was done. I suggested a sticker with a cat on it, but she saw the one with Sponge Bob on it and said, "I want the cheese."
Addy: Whatcha doin' Momma? (this is her favorite thing to say lately, btw)
Me: Just getting the laundry ready. What are you doing Addy?
Addy: Listening to ePod.
Me: You're listening to what?
Addy: Listening muksic (that's music, my favorite word to hear her say ever!) on aPod.
She had the right idea both times she said the word, just the wrong vowel! Funny little lady!

So precious! I just love listening to what little kids have to say. I will call you on your birthday. Hope all is well and that you get to go and do a fancy outing for your birthday.

This made me laugh out loud. The cheese one is the best! I'm so jealous that the 'fam' gets to see you all this week.

Oh, I loved that, and she will love reading the cool things she has said not just when she's grown up, but sooner than you'd think. Even my 5 year old loves to read the things I wrote down that she has said.
