A couple of weekends ago we decided to take a little trip to Legoland. It's in Carlsbad, which is only about 45 minutes away from us. Not to mention, Ryan's sister, Kelly had hooked us up with a free ticket, Addy was free and Ryan got a good price on a ticket through work. So all of us ended up getting in for around $50. An amazing deal! It was Addy's first time at a theme park and I wasn't sure how she'd like it. At first she was a bit apprehensive, but in the end she went on a lot of the rides and loved them! It was fun to have something different to do on a Saturday and we enjoyed our time as a family. I took lots of pictures, so brace yourselves and please keep your hands and legs inside the car at all times. (Haha....How's that for a little theme park humor?!?)
We rode the rides...
We dug in sand for dinosaur bones... (which I think Addy would have done all day, if we had allowed it!)
We danced...
to the Jumpitz! (honestly the highlight of the the day for Addy)
We saw the Las Vegas Strip made from Legos (totally awesome and realistic, BTW!)
We marveled at this little boy made from Legos
We played a guitar as big as us...
Doesn't she look simply thrilled in this picture? It's like she's already a teenager or something!
and of course, we played with lots of Legos!
And so as not to leave out the big kids, Ryan went down this slide
I love that the guy to the right of Ry looks like he's training to be on the Olympic luge team!
Overall, I'd say we had a blast!

This looks like so much fun! My kids loved Legoland! Love the picture with Addy and the guitar...priceless!
i love the addy dancing picture. i want to see that in person (addy dancing that is, not the picture).
Looks like such a fun day! Legoland is such a good place to visit, though is pricey. glad you got in so inexpensively. Addy seemed pretty happy on the rides! So did Ryan!
