Octadong Guy

Yesterday as we were walking down the aisle at Costco there was a guy walking down the opposite side of the aisle toward us. Honestly he looked like he would be annoying, the tip off was the fact that he was wearing sunglasses inside Costco. (People wearing sunglasses indoors has to be one of my biggest pet peeves. That and people who wear sunglasses on the back of their heads. I used to work with a guy at Old Navy who wore sunglasses on the back of his head ALL THE TIME, even at work. Annoying!) As he came closer Addy pointed at him and said in quite a loud voice while pointing at him, "And who's that guy?" and then went on to say, "He's an octadong (that's how she says octagon) guy." I have no clue why she called him that, considering he wasn't shaped like a stop sign. But it cracked me up that she would first point him out and then call him an octadong! So many funny moments with a talkative toddler around!

Funny! Curious, too. Wonder what she was thinking.

Did he have one of those orange and yellow reflector vests on that construction workers wear? They usually have octagons in their hands :) I love the things that come out of toddlers mouths....most of the time anyway.

Hahaha, that is too cute. Max is starting to ask "What his name?" about everyone he sees. They could have some fun together questioning everyone!

Adorable, the minds of toddlers. I was a tad worried when I read the title of your post... OctaDONG...

We were in Target the other day and a guy with his sunglasses on walked past me. I laughed out loud! I thought of Addy and the Octadong guy. I am sure he knew I was laughing at him but I just couldn't contain it!
