Our baby boy is now nearly two months old and I've only written 2 blog posts about him, this makes me very sad. Some days having 2 kids is not so hard, but others it is such a challenge for me! Cohen continues to be the happiest and sweetest baby ever! I took him in for his 1 month check-up when he was exactly 6 weeks old and here were his stats:
Height-24 inches, 90th%
Weight-12 lbs. 8 oz., 90th% (that's right, he's chunking up and I love it!)
This came as a shock to no one, we have ourselves one tall boy! Ryan already has big plans for him to play basketball some day. He also frequently says, "I have a good feeling about this kid." When we went in for the appointment the pediatrician said, "I know it's kind of early for this, but does he do a social smile yet?" My answer, "Yes, he does." I swear he was born smiling, he's just such a happy boy! He even does kind of a little laugh now when he smiles, it's adorable I tell ya!

Easter this year was a bit of a bummer. Addy could not have been more excited for Easter to come. She kept saying, "It's going to be Easter egg time soon." Once Easter egg time did come around she turned out to be quite sick. She didn't get to go to church and we didn't get to do the little Easter egg hunt I had planned, it was quite sad for all of us. When we took her to the pediatrician she said it looked like her eardrum burst, which would explain why she was totally cranky for about a month. We were very glad to get her on antibiotics and back to her normal, only slightly moody self.
The only thing that ended up making Addy feel temporarily better (after throwing a major fit at first) was seeing that she got a Belle doll in her Easter basket
I celebrated my 31st birthday almost a month ago and it was wonderful. Ryan went to Bevmo and bought me a whole bunch mo bevs. He was probably the first person in history to walk into that store and not buy any alcoholic beverages. It was really cool to have such an extensive drink selection to go with our delicious Oggi's pizza. Ryan got me some very nice, thoughtful gifts and we had a nice evening as a family.

My request for birthday cake this year was a Boston cream pie from Marie Calendar's. Who doesn't love a pie that is also a cake? Delish!

i want to meet cohen so badly! he is posing quite professionally in the hand photo. so sweet. why does addy have to go and get sick around major holidays? stinker. i like that it's called, "easter egg time". i also l'ed.o.l at your "mo bev" comment. that was a good idea on ryan's part. how fun. also, i have not had a boston creme pie in many many moons and seeing that made me really want one!

I loved Cohen's sweet smile. He looks just like Addy to me in his "professional photo". I can't wait to meet him. Addy looks beautiful too. I can't wait see her too!

Happy (way belated) birthday! I love all the pictures of Cohen! I think he looks like a jones. We need to get together soon. It's been way too long!!
