Lately I've been in a very Halloweenie mood. I have also happened to feel very much in the mood for sugar cookies, yet another nutritious snack that I've been craving for about 2 weeks now. So on Friday Ryan and I went and bought sugar cookie making materials and materials to paint a pumpkin. (By the way, we found Halloween cut-outs for our sugar cookies that were in the dollar section at Target and there were 10 of them in the pack. Gotta love the dollar section!) This Friday we made and decorated the sugar cookies and on Saturday we painted our pumpkin. We decided that we would get joint custody of the pumpkin. Ryan got to paint a face on one side and I got to paint a face on the other side. I was quite pleased with the way it turned out! I was also quite pleased to stuff myself silly with sugar cookies all weekend long. All in all it was a very Halloweenie weekend!
P.S. I am going to the Dr. tommorow for an ultrasound and non-stress test and I'll be sure to keep everyone posted via a post. (ha, ha I'm so punny!) Hopefully I won't be telling all of you that my Dr. knocked on wood again!
Yeah, I know this is not a great picture at all, in fact I look like PWT (that's poor white trash) but I knew if I didn't include a picture of my belly I would get in trouble from all of you!
So here you go!
Ryan with a somber expression on his face.
Ryan with a not so somber expression!
Isn't she the sassiest lady ever! (The pumpkin that is, not me!)

So much fun to read! I look forward to talking to you later today. I was a bit afraid to call to check on you this weekend what with all the reacreational activities. I hope for good news today!
So, I was thinking of my gross comment about "Feeling Hallo-weenie" and partaking in recreational activities...I just can't do it. The thought of recretional activities that involve my little brother still gives me the heebie jeebies. But, your pumpkin is cute!
You probably should have explained that we paint pumpkins in our family because we grew up with parents that didn't believe in carving pumpkins (because of the mess I'm assuming). I don't think painting pumpkins is a common practice amongst the rest of the world. I think you both are sassy ladies (you and your pumpkin that is).
Nice pumpkins. For a moment I thought you purchased a white pumpkin.
Andrea wanted a white pumpkin to carve "boo" in.
I advised Andrea to do lunges and variations of squats. She didn't actually attempt any of them but did laugh a whole lot. Looking back at her labor the laughs were more intense than her actual contractions. So Just before the baby shot out, I looked toward the Neither regions and saw the baby had hair. I looked in supprize to Andrea and said, "Are you sure this baby is mine? (I was bald until I was 2). SHe looked back at me and said, "Are you sure this baby is MINE?" (She was bald until 2). We both laughed and the doctor and nurse awaited a demand for a divorce. Two contraction cycles later and Zarina shot right out. That is the New Zarina not the one in Australia or where ever she is now.
Ok you have got to be the cutest PWT I have ever seen, with the best highlights as well. Cute pumpkins.
