As you may or may not recall, I wrote this post a couple of months ago about how excited I was that the New Kids on the Block were staging a reunion. Once we found out that the New Kids were going on tour my sisters and I decided that we must go see them in concert in Las Vegas. My sister, Jocelyn decided to go online and buy the presale tickets for all of us last week. They are selling out many of their shows in other cities and we didn't want to be without tickets. Unfortunately, when she went to get the tickets she found out that only people with an American Express card were able to get the presale tickets. Even then, they were still rather pricey. My mom came to the rescue, with her American Express card and got us some super cheap tickets for the concert. I cannot tell you how excited I am to go see this show with my sisters in October! Sure, by this time their singing and dancing skills have probably gone to crap, but it's all about the nostalgia of the 80's and getting to do something fun with my cute sisters! Also, I thought you would all enjoy the little gem I posted above. My sister wrote into those teeny bopper magazines (I'm guessing over 100 times, no kidding!) and "Teen Beat" finally published her very dramatic letter. So hilarious! Besides the drama of the letter, I really enjoy seeing the picture of her with her awesome layered bangs!

I am a bit jealous of you and your sisters. I have 2 sisters and neither one of them know who NKOTB are! Can you believe it. Sometimes they make me feel so old. Have fun at your girls night out!

Oooohh, and now I see that it is hardly fair that I saw this on Jocelyn's blog first because I just read her comment above. I'm sorry the copy cat got all the initial glory that should have been yours.
Oh My Gosh!!! I am cracking up. That letter is priceless. I am so jealous you are going to an actual concert! I remember getting teen beat. Oh how I loved the "centerfold" posters. My boys of choice were, Corey Haim, Ricky Schroder and Jon from New Kids. FYI last year for mother's day, my husband gave me a compilation cd of new kids. P.S. I hope Joey makes eye contact with your sister:)
I've already decided I'm wearing/sharing my buttons and I'm also making a sign to hold up that says "I (STILL) Love Joe!" This is seriously going to be the most fun ever!
