Burned....

I got burned today, not physically burned but emotionally. Not only that, but by someone who's not even 2 yet! The first occurrence was this morning when Addy pointed to me and said that I had a moustache. Granted she didn't just do it out of the blue. We were talking about this opthamologist that she was going to go to that has a creepy looking moustache. Nevertheless, quite the insult! Then she was examining my feet and said, "Ewww..gwoss" (Transalation: "Ewww...gross") Really funny, but also really rude! It makes me feel like I need to get a lip wax followed by a pedicure, which wouldn't be so bad really! I guess I should get used to being burned by my daughter, because I'm sure this is the first of many times that it's going to happen!

I love the horrible honesty of children. One time one of my little daughters was in the bathroom as I was getting out of the shower and she said something like, "WO! Mommy has a really big BIG bum!" Lovely.

someone needs to teach that kid some manners! haha. i'm joking. i'm sad for you though. the moustache thing must have purely been because you were already discussing mustaches. you definitely don't have one. your feet on the other hand...i have seen those get a little unruly, so she may have had a point there. wow, now i'm being rude, and i'm not 2, so i don't have an excuse. just go get a pedicure and i'm sure you'll feel better.

Don't feel bad, Max sniffs me and says "P.U.!" or "Mama tinks" all day long. He thinks he is so funny. He actually pointed to me and said "EW!" the other day. Ah, little stinkers. We can ship them off together!

What's really funny is my word verification is "Sunrep"...talk about getting burned! I'm probably the only one that thinks that's funny. :)

Twice in one day! It is bad enough to hear stuff like that from your kid once in a day! You are right though - it is just the start of what is to come. :)

Get used to it...it's only the beginning. At least she's saying it to you, and not to your friends!

Why is she going to an ophthalmologist?
