This is kind of old news, but it's very exciting nonetheless! I am happy to announce that we are permanent San Diego residents! Ryan got hired on with Ashford University a couple of months back, which he happily accepted. Right around that same time he got an offer for a temp-to-hire position with Qualcomm, which is a large company here in San Diego. He interviewed with them and was very happy to find out he got the job! So he quit the job with Ashford and took the Qualcomm position. We are very happy he did, because about 3 weeks ago they told him they wanted him to come work there full-time as an HR data analyst. (Please don't ask me to tell you what that means, all I know is it involves a lot of data and spreadsheets!) So far, it seems like a really great place to work and we are so happy that we are able to stay in a city that we have really loved! Addy and I went and had lunch with him at work a little while back. It was kind of intimidating, we had to go through a guarded gate to get to the parking garage and check in and get badges! Afterwards, we stopped off for a short visit to walk (or run, in Addy's case!) around the temple grounds and got to see lots of pretty flowers. We had fun seeing where Ry works and hope to make a habit of having a monthly lunch date with Daddy!
P.S. Ryan does not work at the Qualcomm stadium as a hot dog vendor. (Kind of an inside joke with Ryan's family!)

Yay! I didn't realize that Ryan got hired on permanently! That's great news! Now you just need to buy the place next door to us and we'll be good!
