For Memorial Day I thought it would be fun to go to the beach. We ended up going to La Jolla shores, but it was a pretty windy day. Much too windy and chilly for poor Cohen. It was his first trip to the beach ever and he did not love it! The rest of us still had a fun time, despite the chilly weather.
As usual, Addy was content to dig in the sand the entire time
This was Cohen's make shift shelter to protect him from the sun and wind
The main reason I took this picture was to get a shot of the people in the background. They were very interesting. It was a lady, a man (who I'm assuming was her husband) and two teenagers (who I don't think were her children, because they were acting way too polite to her to be her children.) The lady was talking in such a loud voice, that I could hear every boring thing she said. You could tell that everyone else in her their little group just wanted her to pipe down!
Back in June Ryan got 2 tickets to see a Padres game at the last minute. Some friends in our ward were kind enough to watch Addy, so that we could take Cohen and go to the game. We got hooked up big time and got to sit in the Qualcomm suite. My favorite part of the night was spending time with Ryan and of course, the dessert cart!
We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary on July 2nd. We didn't really make any big date plans, so we decided we'd all get dressed up and have dinner with the kids in Little Italy. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful downtown areas in San Diego and has such delicious food! Addy had a great time afterwards, smelling flowers and directing traffic. I'm sad that I didn't get a picture with all of us.
For 4th of July we went and visited Ryan's family in the Anaheim area. We stayed with Ryan's Aunt Patty and Uncle Scott. Every year this couple in their neighborhood throws a big potluck brunch party for all the neighbors. We tagged along and despite the fact that it was hot and sticky, we had a fun time.
I don't think Addy could have been more excited to wear her new Minnie Mouse shirt!
The back of Cohen's sweaty little noggin
This poor little man was pretty miserable with the heat and we ended up having to hang out inside the house for awhile
Here are some cute pictures I took of Cohen at around 3 months. He's such a sweet, smiley boy!
This one is my personal favorite, so happy!
Addy continues to be all about dressing up. She comes up with some of the most funny outfits ever! Here is some of her best work yet...
And here are three of her favorite things in one picture, watching Yo Gabba Gabba, dancing and wearing her "cowboy" boots that Grandma Mills gave her last Christmas.

Addy is looking so much older all of a sudden! She's so beautiful. I love that picture of Cohen smiling too. Fun post!
oh my goodness! i have a comment for just about every picture...but i'll spare you. addy is a masterful dresser-upper (the sunglasses around the torso shows a particular talent). she seems like she is hilarious. i love that she was "directing traffic"! cohen is getting bigger by the second and is so chunky and cute. i need to see him pronto.
Addy knows how to put an outfit together! She is so pretty! And Cohen has a precious face. Such a cute age!
