Summertime Mish Mash

As of late, I've been trying to get out and do more fun things with our family/the kids. I feel that since we live in a city with so many cool outdoor things to do, that we need to take advantage of it. Here is our summer in pictures...

These were pictures taken at the park on Coronado. Probably at least 3 months old

We took a little walk around one of the neighborhoods on Coronado, the homes are so beautiful and charming! Love em'!

These pictures are from Addy's 4th of July parade at preschool and our church 4th of July breakfast. 

They had a little parade that the kids participated in, which was basically organized chaos. Addy enjoyed it though! 

And most of the time, Cohen did this. What a boy! 

We also went to Cabrillo National Monument on 4th of July. It was fun, beautiful and cheap. All things that I love! Addy's favorite part, was of course playing dress-up! 

This was one of many amazing ocean views from Cabrillo National Monument, beautiful! 

We decided on a random Saturday night to go to Mission Beach and have a beach picnic, a little chilly but very fun. 

Cohen is in the stage of life where he points at everything, very cute!

Cohen loves to drink from everybody's water bottle, except his own. 

Addy's favorite thing is (and has always been) playing in the sand.

Our stake has a 24th of July celebration every year and this was this years. I basically spent the whole time chasing Cohen around, to prevent him from getting into mischief. I regretted the decision to go by myself and if it were't for the fun Addy was having, I might have gone home right away.

Addy detested the horse ride last year and this year she LOVED it! 

A couple of weeks back we went to Balboa Park and saw a puppet show and walked (or ran) around for a bit. We all had a lovely time! 

I love the Spreckels Organ Pavillion, someday I'm going to go and watch one of the organ performances. Being here reminded me of when Ryan and I went when I was just a week away from having Addy. 

And what would summer be without making and tasting some delicious chocolate treats?!?!
